A facility doesn't want a pump, three valves, a flowmeter, and a pile of fittings. It wants a tested subsystem that arrives knowing what it's supposed to do.

Chemical feed skids sit behind most of the applications already covered on this hub — dosing for the fluoride treatment train, pH adjustment ahead of CMP wastewater discharge, reagent feed for a scrubber. A skid turns those individual components into one factory-assembled, factory-tested unit instead of a field-commissioned pile of parts.

CFPS — Plastic Frame

Single, double, or triple pump. Floor or wall mount. Widest pipe-material range: PVC, CPVC, PVDF, Chem Proline (PE), or 316SS. Optional SONIC-PRO flow meter with 4-20mA output.

CFCS — Compact Frame

Single or double pump. Floor or wall mount. Narrower material range (PVC/CPVC/316SS only) at a smaller footprint.

CFWS — Wall Mount

Single or duplex pump, wall-mount only — no floor option. Same 150 psi rating and pipe-material range as CFPS.

What Turns a Pump Into a System

Back pressure valve

Applies continuous back pressure to the feed pump while preventing gravity/siphon-induced overfeed.

Pressure relief valve

Protects the system from over-pressure caused by defective equipment or a blocked line — also functions as a high-pressure pump bypass valve.

Chemical injection valve / quill

Sold by insertion length, not just body size — getting insertion length right is the difference between correct fit and a leaking penetration.

Calibration column

Verifies and calibrates actual metering pump output rate — an ancillary instrument, not a wetted process component.

Y-strainer

Standard, clear-body, or true-union, from 20 mesh to 325 mesh — protects downstream metering equipment from particulate.

Pulsation dampener

Smooths the pressure pulses a reciprocating metering pump introduces into the discharge line.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's actually different between a pre-assembled skid and buying the components separately?

A skid ships as a factory-tested subsystem — piping, pump, flow indicator, calibration cylinder, strainer, and containment already assembled and pressure-tested — instead of a pump plus a pile of fittings the field crew has to assemble and commission from scratch. That shifts risk and labor from the job site to the factory.

Why does insertion length matter on a chemical injection quill?

A quill is sized by insertion length as a real, distinct dimension from the valve body size — it determines how far the injection point extends into the pipe or tank. Getting it wrong is a common, avoidable cause of a leaking or incorrectly-positioned injection point.

What materials are available across the skid frame families?

CFPS and CFWS both support PVC, CPVC, PVDF, Chem Proline (PE), or 316SS wetted piping. CFCS is narrower — PVC, CPVC, or 316SS only, without PVDF or Chem Proline as an option.

What does factory acceptance testing actually verify before a skid ships?
