Plating-line agitation runs in the same tanks as chrome reduction and cyanide destruction chemistry — 316SS wets fine in most plating baths, but Filter Pump's own metal-less PM option (polypropylene propeller, sleeved shaft) exists because some plating chemistries call for zero metal-to-liquid contact. Specifying 316SS by default without checking bath chemistry is how an impeller shows up corroded months later.
