What LibertyCES specifies from Epiphene

CPH-16 Silt Separator Skid
30–100 · 100–250 · 200–500 · 500–1000 GPM

Chemical-free, sub-micron solids separation — removes the nucleation-seed particles that cause scale, instead of chemically inhibiting crystal growth. Towable, plug-and-play deployment.

Single Media Filter
Stackable, down to 5 micron

Polishing stage after CPH-16 separation for RO pre-treatment, process water reuse, and irrigation silt removal.

LPD-Mag Y-Strainer
LPDMAG0200–LPDMAG0800, 2"–8"

Magnetic drywell insert intercepts iron oxide before it reaches an ECM pump's wet rotor — cast iron/304SS/Viton/neodymium construction, 175 PSI @ 150°F.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is nucleation-seed removal and how does it prevent scale?

Mineral scale doesn't form spontaneously — heterogeneous nucleation occurs when dissolved minerals precipitate onto pre-existing 0.1–10 micron silt or biological particles. Removing those seed particles physically prevents scale formation, as an alternative to chemical antiscalant dosing.

What does the Epiphene LPD-Mag strainer protect against?

ECM (electronically commutated motor) pumps have powerful internal magnets that attract iron oxide into the pump's wet rotor, wearing through the housing over time. The LPD-Mag's magnetic drywell insert intercepts that iron oxide upstream before it reaches the pump.

What flow rates does the CPH-16 skid cover?

Four tiers: 30–100 GPM, 100–250 GPM, 200–500 GPM, and 500–1000 GPM, all with towable/tow-booster deployment options.
